TIDAL GUIDANCE – TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR GYM SESSIONS
1. Participation & Eligibility
All participants must complete a pre-exercise questionnaire and declare any relevant medical conditions before attending sessions.
You must be 16 years or older to attend unsupervised sessions unless approved by the trainer.
2. Health & Safety
You are responsible for notifying your trainer of any injury, illness, or change in health status before each session.
You must wear appropriate workout clothing and closed-toe athletic shoes.
Tidal Guidance reserves the right to refuse participation if a trainer believes it may compromise your safety or the safety of others.
3. Session Bookings & Cancellations
Sessions must be booked in advance.
If you cancel or reschedule with less than 12 hours’ notice, your session may be forfeited at the discretion of Tidal Guidance.
Repeated no-shows may result in future bookings being declined.
4. Group Training Attendance
For the safety and enjoyment of all members, please arrive on time.
Warm-ups are essential – late arrivals may not be allowed to join.
5. Refunds & Transfers
Sessions are non-refundable unless required by Australian Consumer Law.
Sessions may be transferred to another person with prior written approval.
6. Assumption of Risk
By participating in training, you acknowledge that there are inherent risks associated with physical activity.
You voluntarily assume all responsibility for injuries or health outcomes, except where caused by negligence or a breach of Australian Consumer Law by Tidal Guidance.
7. Behaviour & Conduct
Clients are expected to behave respectfully toward trainers, other clients, and facilities.
Aggressive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
TIDAL GUIDANCE – TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR NUTRITION CONSULTATIONS
1. Consultation Scope
Tidal Guidance provides evidence-based nutrition advice in line with qualifications held. We do not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
You may be referred to other health professionals if a condition is outside our scope of practice.
2. Intake & Informed Consent
Clients must complete an intake form before their first appointment and disclose all relevant health conditions, medications, and dietary supplements.
By attending, you consent to receiving nutrition advice tailored to your personal health needs and goals.
3. Supplement Recommendations
Where appropriate, dietary supplements may be recommended.
Supplements are not included in the consultation fee and will be charged separately if purchased through Tidal Guidance or affiliated suppliers.
Clients are under no obligation to purchase any supplement.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full consult fee.
5. Payment & Refunds
Payment is due at the time of booking or on the day of service.
No refunds will be issued for completed consultations.
Where services are not delivered as agreed, remedies under Australian Consumer Law will apply.
6. Privacy & Confidentiality
All personal health information is collected and stored in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Your information will never be shared without your written consent, except where required by law.
7. Limitations
Nutrition outcomes vary and cannot be guaranteed. Clients are responsible for implementing the advice provided.
Recommendations are based on the information you provide; failure to disclose relevant information may affect your results.
Tidal Training Weekly Membership, you agree to the following terms:
Ongoing Weekly Billing
This membership renews weekly and includes access to up to 5 group training sessions per week.
Your membership begins on the date of purchase and continues until cancelled.
Cancellation Policy
It is your responsibility to cancel your membership if you no longer wish to continue.
Cancellations must be made before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged.
All payments are non-refundable, including unused sessions or missed weeks.
Pauses for Public Holidays or Trainer Absence
If Tidal Training is closed due to public holidays or trainer unavailability, your membership will be automatically paused, and you will not be charged for that week.
During these pauses, membership access is temporarily suspended.
If you wish to attend a session during a paused period (e.g. where limited sessions are still running), you will need to book at the standard casual rate, subject to availability.

8-Week Nutrition & Training Package
By purchasing this package, you agree to the following terms:
Usage Period
This package includes 5 nutrition consultations and 16 personal training sessions.
All sessions must be booked and completed within 60 days of the purchase date.
Unused sessions will expire after 60 days and will not be refunded, transferred, or extended.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Minimum 12 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or reschedules.
Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled session, or no-shows, will be counted as used.
Refund Policy
This package is non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.
Illness or Emergency
In the event of serious illness, injury, or extenuating circumstances, please contact Tidal Training as soon as possible to discuss your options. Extensions may be granted at our discretion.
Booking & Support
Sessions must be booked via the online booking system or by contacting Tidal directly.
Tailored programs and assessments will be based on information provided during consultations and training sessions. It is the client’s responsibility to communicate any medical or physical limitations.
Terms and Conditions – Training Packages
By purchasing a personal training package through this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Package Inclusions
Each package includes a set number of personal training sessions, to be delivered in person or online as outlined at the time of purchase. Inclusions (e.g. fitness assessments, session duration) are listed in the package description.
2. Booking and Scheduling
Sessions must be booked in advance through the available booking system or by contacting us directly. Session times are subject to availability.
3. Session Expiry
All packages have a validity period:
5-session packs: valid for 90 days from date of purchase
10-session packs: valid for 180 days from date of purchase
Unused sessions will expire after this period and are non-refundable.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We require at least 12 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 12 hours' notice may be forfeited.
5. Refund Policy
All purchases are final. Refunds will only be issued in cases of:
Serious illness or injury (medical certificate required)
Cancellation of services by the trainer
Refunds are not provided for change of mind, lack of use, or missed sessions.
6. Transfer of Sessions
Training packages are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Disclose any relevant medical conditions before training
Arrive on time and ready to train
Follow the trainer’s instructions and exercise safely
8. Health and Safety
You acknowledge that physical exercise carries risk. You participate at your own risk and agree to release and hold harmless [Your Business Name] and its trainers from liability, except where required by law.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website.
By purchasing or redeeming a Tidal Guidance voucher, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Voucher Validity
Vouchers are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
Expired vouchers will not be honoured and cannot be extended unless required by Australian Consumer Law.
2. Voucher Redemption
Vouchers can be redeemed for personal training sessions, nutrition consultations, or eligible packages as listed on the Tidal Guidance website.
Redemption is subject to appointment availability. Please book in advance to secure your preferred time.
Vouchers are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash (in whole or in part).
Vouchers may not be used to purchase other vouchers.
3. Transferability
Vouchers are fully transferable and may be gifted to another person unless otherwise stated.
The person redeeming the voucher will be required to agree to all standard client terms and complete a health or intake form where appropriate.
4. Cancellation Policy
If you cancel or reschedule an appointment with less than 12 hours’ notice, your session may be forfeited at the discretion of Tidal Guidance.
No-shows or repeated cancellations may result in the voucher becoming void.
5. Lost or Stolen Vouchers
Tidal Guidance is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers.
Please keep your voucher code secure. Only the person presenting the valid code may redeem the voucher.
6. Service Changes
Tidal Guidance reserves the right to alter services, pricing, or availability at any time. If a significant change affects the ability to redeem a purchased voucher, reasonable alternatives or extensions will be offered.
7. Limitations
Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or discounts unless explicitly allowed.
Only one voucher can be used per transaction unless otherwise arranged.

Tidal Guidance – Cancellation & Refund Policy
General Policy
We understand that life happens. To be fair to both clients and staff, the following cancellation and refund conditions apply to all training sessions, consultations, and bookings made through Tidal Guidance.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Individual Appointments (PT or Nutrition):
12 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule without penalty.
Cancellations made within 12 hours of your scheduled appointment may result in forfeiture of the session or fee at the discretion of Tidal Guidance.
Group Sessions / Classes:
Minimum 12 hours’ notice is required for cancellation.
Late cancellations or no-shows may not be refunded or credited.
Emergencies:
We may waive fees for emergencies or extenuating circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
Refunds & Credits
For Prepaid Appointments:
Refunds are not automatic upon cancellation.
To request a refund, contact us directly at jules@tidalguidance.com.au within 7 days of the original appointment date.
Refunds will only be issued if cancellation falls within the notice period and under reasonable circumstances.
If outside of the notice period, no refund is required to be given under Australian Consumer Law.
Credit Option:
In many cases, we’re happy to offer a credit or reschedule instead of a refund.
Credits must be used within 3 months of the original booking unless otherwise agreed.
For No-Shows:
Failure to attend a booked appointment without prior notice is considered a no-show. No refund or credit will be issued.
